Buttons have been around a long time. A lot longer than our little business. Invented in the 13th century in Germany to fasten our clothes together and keep us warm.
Much the same as our clothes our friends and family also wrap around us and give us that warm feeling. Love is the thing that fastens our friends and family together, much the same as button with our clothes.
So when we are creating a piece for one of our customers, the parts are far more than just the simple buttons. They are small pieces of love.

Mrs Whitmore’s Buttons is a small family business in Hornchurch, Essex. We are a new business with an ever expanding base of lovely customers who not only purchase items from us but also take away a small piece of our love every time.
Every item is hand made using the best quality materials we can source. Everything is made bespoke and to our customers exact specification.
We supply nationwide with happy customers the length and breadth of Britain. We supply one off unique gifts to individuals and we also supply limited numbers of gifts to local shops and websites.
